When should I schedule my first fitting?

How much do wedding dress alterations cost?

How many fittings will I need?

Most gowns require 2–3 fittings to achieve the perfect fit, but more fittings may be needed for complex alterations such as corset backs, lace reconstruction, or extensive beading.
  • First fitting: We’ll pin and mark initial adjustments.
  • Second fitting: We fine-tune the fit and confirm comfort.
  • Final fitting: We check every detail before pickup.

✨ Fitting Packages are available to help cover the cost of multiple fittings and include special perks like gown steaming, custom veils, and more.

What should I bring to my fitting?

Please bring:
  • The exact shoes you plan to wear — or shoes with a similar heel height if your final pair isn’t chosen yet
  • Your undergarments or shapewear for the big day
  • Any accessories or veil you’d like to try on with your gown
Bringing these items ensures your hem and fit are perfectly tailored to your full wedding-day look.

Can I bring someone with me to my fitting?

Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring one or two trusted guests whose opinions you value.
It’s also helpful to bring someone to your final fitting so they can learn how your bustle works and assist you on the wedding day. A calm, focused environment helps us perfect every detail together.

How long does a fitting take?

Most fittings take about 30–45 minutes, depending on the number of adjustments. Final fittings are usually shorter if only small tweaks are needed.

What if I’m still losing or gaining weight before the wedding?

No worries — it’s very common! Let us know if you’re planning changes in your routine, and we’ll time your fittings to keep your gown fitting beautifully.
If you’re expecting — congratulations! Please let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust your fitting timeline and make any necessary modifications to ensure comfort and support.

Do you offer alterations for bridesmaids or mothers’ dresses?

Yes! We offer expert alterations for bridesmaid, mother-of-the-bride, mother-of-the-groom, and bridal party dresses.
We recommend bringing these garments in about 2–3 months before the event to allow for fitting flexibility and scheduling availability.
